College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Department Web Template (PHP VERSION)
This version of the web template package contains a PHP version with a centralized left navigation file for easy navigation management vs. replicating on each static file. Your web server environment must support PHP to utilize.

Beyond the core web templates we have also provided the following enhanced services and capabilities. Each of the following is pre-configured in the web templates and are ready for full use. No adjustments or programming required.

1. Flash and JavaScript Picture Slideshow applets. Edit a simple text file and create images to use.
2. Centralized “Printable Version” functionality to produce print friendly versions of any page.
3. Centralized “Email a Link to a Friend” functionality to email the link of any given page to any interested party.
4. Dynamic text re-sizing of the page content.
5. Centralized Search Functionality; utilizing the University Google Appliance.
6. Ready-Made “News & Events” page utilizing AgCal Calendaring Service.

I want to offer a very special thanks to Jaclyn Tech, who has provided professional assistance to help this project move quickly through the final stages. Jaclyn provided additional styling and design enhancements to the template, as well as, created the Flash and JavaScript applets in a ready-made easy to use model.

Appreciation is also recognized for all of those that assisted during the process by providing direction, input and/or feedback. I believe we have collectively created a highly professional image for the College of Agriculture & Life Sciences.

We plan on updating the main College web site to this template in the coming month. Additionally we will have this template programmed into the Content Management System and available in the coming months when we begin to offer that service. In the meantime you are welcome to migrate your current web site to the new template.
